We summoned a team of recycling detectives on a one-day event to uncover how many recycling crimes its residents committed. It was a way to dramatize the fact of committed recycling mistakes, draw public attention to the problem, and discuss it aloud. The flexibility of the idea allowed us to develop the concept even further: storing recycling mistakes on a website, solving recycling mysteries on social media, and extending communication on various media outlets with the help of influencers.
